Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 French baguette, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the tomato mixture. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside and let the flavors meld together.
