Stuffed Jalapeños are a delicious, spicy appetizer that’s perfect for any gathering. These bite-sized treats are filled with creamy cheese, crispy bacon, and topped with savory seasonings that balance the heat of the jalapeños. Whether you’re hosting a game day party or just craving a snack, these stuffed jalapeños are quick, easy, and sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Prepare the jalapeños. Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Be careful with the seeds, as they carry most of the heat!
Mix the filling. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
Stuff the jalapeños. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, making sure to fill them generously. If desired, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
Bake. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the jalapeños are tender.
Serve. Garnish with chopped cilantro (optional) and serve hot. Enjoy!
Leave a few seeds in the jalapeños if you like a spicier kick. You can prepare the stuffed jalapeños up to a day in advance. Just cover and refrigerate before baking. Try adding other ingredients to the filling, such as diced cooked sausage, pepper jack cheese, or fresh herbs for extra flavor. You can also cook these in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes until crispy.
